Very good location, near aya sophia and Grand Bazar(kapali Carsi) easy to find and there is an parking space for your car that is free of charge and the hotell staff keep it free for youyr car all the time
Poor cleanliness of the room, single and double rooms are rooms are too small for 1-2 persons, bathroom is minimal, the wc door can not be colsed completly, the tv has no remote control and it has 3 channels and all of them are on turkish, airconditioner whas broken in all the rooms, one night we saw a mouse in our room, next day we told to our friends and they saw rats too
It was close to the touristic centre of Istanbul
Cleanliness, breakfast buffet
The location was the best, is in the middle of the old city and therefore you can reach every interesting point in couple of minutes
Service with warm heart: staff helped me more than I could have asked for. Cosy atmosphere and friendly people speaking english. Beautiful seaside just nearby.
location, staff, terrace on the roof
Very friendly, helpful russian-speaking staff, good location, accesible price
Nice Place and friendly stuff location is perfect
I can say that the reception and the place where we had breakfast is quite warm! Also, the staff is friendly
The main issue is that the bath is out of the room and it is very small (1,5 sq.m. - for toilet seat and shower tube...). It is an issue of building architecture and I don't know how this can be improved. I also believe that there should be serious improvement in the cleanliness of the room (e.g. clean towels, clean sheets, clean carpets etc). Finally, the doors should be locked properly. There is a main point of safety.
The bed was fairly comfortable. Location was pretty good.
The stairs leading up to the room had stained carpets and the carpet was curling up. The carpets in the bedroom were stained and dirty. The bathroom was 3 foot square and contained a toilet, very small sink with only a cold tap and a shower hose which was ridiculous as there was no room to have a shower. You had to sit on the toilet to shower and water would go everywhere, even under the door and onto the bedroom carpet, hence the stains. The window was held shut with a plastic bag and the security of the room was very poor as it had a door leading to a balcony which couldn't be locked, it just had one handle on the inside. The cleaner left the door open after she cleaned the room, luckily nothing was missing. No room for more info!!
Staff were very friendly and helpful. We came away feeling we were friends rather than just tourists. The hotel was within walking distance of all the main sights and shops.
A little bit noisy.
Staff was very helpful, rooms ok, and the hotel is located in sultanahmet, a few hundred meters from ayasofia and blue mosque.
This was a very nice hotel, rooms and location.Everything was great. Interior design was super, has a very comfortable feel. Their breakfast is very various. You can walk to Blue Mosque, Sophia Hugia, Topkapi Palace in minutes . Very helpful staff.I hope i will come to this hotel again.
They have a great terrace but they dont use there efficently.
Perfect location. Really helpfull and nice staff. Really fair rates given the location.
One of the reasons for booking this hotel was the fact they advertise a buffet breakfast, ( the other reason was the position) but it turned out to be the same as a Turkish breakfast except you help yourself Didn't like the breakfast seating arrangements, --two two seater tables in the reception area, a little strained when more than 4 people come for breakfast at the same time. Didn't like the attitude of the manager,(son of the owner I believe) rude and pompous.
The manager, I believe the son of the owner, an arrogant, pompous and rude person, the sort who gives Turks a bad name. The hotel, possibly in the middle of some updates, a lot of leaks in the bathroom, tv bracket on the wall, no tv (is tv important to you , I was asked) hairdrier not wired in, the breakfast, stated as a buffet but was the minimum required, 7 items and two of those were bread and jam ( cheese, olives, tomatoe, cucumber, sausage) @ 7euros. Was booked in for 4 nights !
